Business Retention & Expansion

Are you planning to expand your Cerritos business? The City of Cerritos Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) program is a community-based economic development effort that promotes economic growth in the City. Originally established through the City’s efforts in the Cerritos Auto Square, the BRE program was developed to allow City staff to identify opportunities for businesses in the City of Cerritos.
The City’s proactive BRE team works directly with businesses and economic development organizations to provide assistance that can result in the retention and creation of jobs and investments in the City of Cerritos. The BRE team can help with site selection, permit assistance and other programs that help large and small businesses.
Retention of businesses is a high priority for the City of Cerritos and is part of a larger effort under the Economic Development Strategic Plan. All available services and resources are utilized to ensure that Cerritos remains a favorable location for businesses. Additionally, the City has an open dialogue and partnership with the private non-profit organizations, trade associations and other institutions.
