Cerritos Election Town Hall meeting date changed to Wednesday, October 16 at 6 p.m. at Cerritos Park East

  • Just prior to the Public Safety Town Hall meeting, the Cerritos City Clerk's Office will provide a brief update regarding the City's upcoming General Municipal Election. Residents will have the opportunity to test Los Angeles County's new fully accessible Ballot Marking Device (BMD). For more information, call (562) 916-1248. (Meeting was previously scheduled for Monday, October 14.)

Lane closure planned on westbound Del Amo Boulevard between Norwalk and Pioneer Boulevards, Monday, August 19-Thursday, October 31

  • The rightmost traffic lane on this segment of Del Amo Boulevard will be closed for construction and improvements.
  • Work to be done includes removing trees; repairing concrete, curbs, gutters and sidewalks; and re-establishing landscaping and irrigation.
  • Increased traffic and congestion should be expected during this time.

U.S. 2020 Census canvassing has begun in Cerritos

  • Now through mid-October, U.S. Census workers are canvassing some Cerritos neighborhoods to verify addresses in preparation for the 2020 U.S. Census.
  • Workers are required to show official government identification.

  • The City is in the process of migrating its current parking permit system to an online solution that will be more convenient and efficient.
  • Residents will be notified when the City's new internet-based parking system is available for renewing their annual parking permit(s).
