COVID-19 testing site available at Cerritos Park East (PDF)

COVID-19 testing is available in the parking lot located near the picnic shelter at Cerritos Park East (CPE). The testing site is operated by A & C UrgentCare and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 to 11 a.m. Antigen tests are offered free-of-charge. CPE is located at 13234 E. 166th Street in Cerritos.

Appointments are recommended, but not required. Appointments can be made through the AiTmed-Care app, following the instructions provided by A & C UrgentCare (PDF).

Cerritos registered voters or eligible parties interested in filing a primary argument “for” or “against” any of the Charter amendment measures appearing on the Tuesday, April 12, 2022 Cerritos General Municipal Election ballot may file a written argument of no more than 300 words in the Office of the City Clerk/Elections Official. The deadline to submit written arguments is Thursday, January 27, 2022, 5:00 p.m. The Notice of Election, Notice to Voters of the Argument Deadline Date, and the Form of Statement which must accompany the written argument can be accessed here:

County of Los Angeles Housing and Rental Assistance Updates

  • The County of Los Angeles offers assistance to residential tenants seeking rental assistance and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. These resources include information regarding COVID-19 rental protections (AB 3088), LA County temporary eviction protections, and other financial/legal protections for tenants. L.A. County Assessor’s information

  • The L.A. County Assessor Homeowners' Exemption program reduces the assessed value of a home or condo by $7,000 for tax purposes, which translates to a reduction of $70 annually to a homeowner's property tax bill. For more information visit

  • Outdoor Recreation facilities are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including athletic fields and basketball, handball and volleyball courts.
  • The Cerritos on Wheels (COW) fixed route service will operate Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will arrive at each bus stop every sixty (60) minutes. The COW bus schedule may be accessed here. Facial coverings are required.
  • The Dial-A-Ride demand response service will continue to provide service to Cerritos Seniors and residents with disabilities Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Facial coverings are required.
