- City of Cerritos Mayor Naresh Solanki has written a letter to L.A. County Supervisor Janice Hahn expressing the City Council's strong interest in partnering with the County to locate a COVID-19 vaccination site in Cerritos.

County of Los Angeles Housing and Rental Assistance Updates

- The County of Los Angeles offers assistance to residential tenants seeking rental assistance and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. These resources include information regarding COVID-19 rental protections (AB 3088), LA County temporary eviction protections, and other financial/legal protections for tenants. COVID-19 Temporary Special Circumstance Parking Permit

- Cerritos residents can request a Temporary Special Circumstance parking permit to park on the streets overnight during the COVID-19 pandemic. The permit does not exempt a vehicle from the street sweeping ordinance. To apply for a Temporary Special Circumstance permit, click here.
L.A. County Assessor’s information
- The L.A. County Assessor Homeowners' Exemption program reduces the assessed value of a home or condo by $7,000 for tax purposes, which translates to a reduction of $70 annually to a homeowner's property tax bill. For more information visit assessor.lacounty.gov/homeowners-exemption/.
- Please note that the County of L.A. Treasurer and Tax Collector does NOT conduct in-person visits to collect property tax payments. If you are contacted at your home about this, notify the Cerritos Sheriff's Station immediately at (562) 860-0044.

Cerritos residents are reminded to practice social distancing at all times, including children visiting the City's outdoor recreation facilities.
- Water service provided by the City of Cerritos will not be subject to shut off due to overdue payment until further notice.
- The City’s overnight parking enforcement will begin again on Monday, March 15, 2021. Residents are reminded to apply for their 2021 annual parking permits via the online portal at safercerritos.com. Enforcement of street sweeping parking restrictions will begin on Monday, February 22, 2021.
- The Cerritos on Wheels (COW) fixed route service will operate Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will arrive at each bus stop every sixty (60) minutes. The temporary COW bus schedule may be accessed here. Facial coverings are required.
- The Dial-A-Ride demand response service will continue to provide service to Cerritos Seniors and residents with disabilities Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Facial coverings are required.
