County of Los Angeles Housing and Rental Assistance Updates

  • The County of Los Angeles offers assistance to residential tenants seeking rental assistance and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. These resources include information regarding COVID-19 rental protections (AB 3088), LA County temporary eviction protections, and other financial/legal protections for tenants. L.A. County Assessor’s information

  • The L.A. County Assessor Homeowners' Exemption program reduces the assessed value of a home or condo by $7,000 for tax purposes, which translates to a reduction of $70 annually to a homeowner's property tax bill. For more information visit

  • Cerritos Sheriff’s Station/Community Safety Center
    • Open 24 hours per day, seven days a week
  • Outdoor Recreation facilities are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including athletic fields and basketball, handball and volleyball courts.
  • The Cerritos on Wheels (COW) fixed route service will operate Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will arrive at each bus stop every sixty (60) minutes. The COW bus schedule may be accessed here. Facial coverings are required.
  • The Dial-A-Ride demand response service will continue to provide service to Cerritos Seniors and residents with disabilities Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Facial coverings are required.
