Dial-A-Ride

The Cerritos Dial-A-Ride offers curb-to-curb transportation for Cerritos residents with disabilities and seniors, age 55 or older. Dial-A-Ride service is provided to and from any destination within Cerritos, Artesia, and portions of La Palma and Norwalk (Tier 1). In addition, Dial-A-Ride provides service to and from any medical facility or hospital within a three-mile radius of Tier 1 boundaries (Tier 2), and also to City approved medical facilities and hospitals outside Tier 2 boundaries (Tier 3). Dial-A-Ride operates from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, except on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Reservations are required for all Dial-A-Ride trips, and can be made up to 48 hours in advance by calling toll-free (866) 402-RIDE or (562) 402-7433. Through the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic, same-day reservations may be provided, subject to vehicle availability from Monday through Friday only. If you need to cancel an existing reservation, please dial the number provided above.

All Dial-A-Ride passengers are required to have a Passenger Registration/Waiver Form (PDF) completed and approved by the City of Cerritos before utilizing Dial-A-Ride services. The application form has two sections: 1) Application Information and 2) Waiver. Both sections must be completed and returned to the City for approval. Incomplete applications will not be approved. Passenger Registration/Waiver Forms can be submitted by mail or in person to:

Applications will be reviewed within 2-3 days of receipt. Notification of approval will be provided via mail. Upon approval, Dial-A-Ride passengers may proceed in making reservations with the Dial-A-Ride service.

Title VI Program

In accordance with Federal Transit Administration requirements, the City has adopted a Title VI compliance program. Title VI is a provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and specifically establishes non-discrimination and accessibility standards for any federally funded or assisted programs. As the City of Cerritos has been the recipient of federal assistance for the City's transit operation, the City is pleased to adopt and implement applicable provisions of Title VI.
