Recreation Services Program Highlights

Following is a listing of certain upcoming Recreation Services Division programs and activities. Many of the activities require advance registration and participation numbers are limited. Cerritos residents receive priority in registration. To find out about registration dates and procedures, please call the Recreation Services Division Office at (562) 916-1254.

Youth Baseball/Rookie T-Ball League

Festival of Friendship

Youth Baseball/Rookie T-Ball League

$47 resident/$71 non-resident

All registration for youth baseball/rookie T-ball league for youth born between 2010 and 2012 will be held on the following days at the Cerritos Sports Complex, 19900 Bloomfield Avenue.

Residents Only:
Sat., Jan. 27 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wed., Jan. 31 from 4-8 p.m.

Open Registration:
Sat., Feb. 3 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Register your child with a friend or sibling and receive 50 percent off each registration. Offer only valid at the time of registration and does not apply to previously registered participants. The non-refundable registration fee includes a team T-shirt, participation award and Officials and Players' Medical Benefit Fund. Baseball participants will be formed into teams for league play. Baseball games will be played during the months of May through June. Practices and games will be held at various locations throughout the City. BIRTH CERTIFICATES MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION IN ALL DIVISIONS. For more information, call the Sports Complex at (562) 916-8590.

Festival of Friendship

Save the date! The City of Cerritos and the Let Freedom Ring Committee, in conjunction with the Los Cerritos Center, invite participants to attend the annual Festival of Friendship on Saturday, February 3, 2018. The festival provides the community with a unique opportunity to learn about the City's rich diversity through a variety of cultural acts performed on several stages throughout the mall. Local community groups will be the featured entertainment as they display an assortment of ethnic songs and dances of their native cultures. Visit each stage to obtain a special commemorative gift.
