Caltrans "Adopt A Highway" Program

The "Adopt A Highway" program is an educational project that provides companies, small businesses, private and public organizations the opportunity to contribute in cleaning up and beautifying California. You can clean up and beautify a stretch of Cerritos freeway by removing litter, planting and establishing tree seedlings, planting wildflowers, removing graffiti or by financially sponsoring a litter sweeper. Groups that participate are recognized with a sign posted at the beginning of their adopted route in each direction.
