Mailboxes can prevent theft and beautify Cerritos

Many mailboxes in Cerritos are 30 or more years old and showing their age. To help beautify Cerritos and protect residents from mail theft, the City Council recently approved new guidelines for residents planning to replace their old models.
Residents are encouraged to work with their neighbors to choose mailboxes that are attractive and compatible, for beautiful streetscapes. A wide variety of mailboxes that meet these guidelines can be found at your local home improvement, discount or hardware store.
