Form allows residents to report nuisances
Updated February 1, 2021
Thousands of residents, business owners, school leaders and places of worship groups have helped make Cerritos one of the best-looking cities in Southern California by taking pride in their property.
The Code Enforcement Report Form allows residents and business owners to report neighborhood nuisances to the City's Code Enforcement Officers. Complaints may include overgrown yards, debris or trash cans stored in public view, inoperable vehicles, broken walls and fences or poorly maintained paint and siding.
The Cerritos Code Enforcement program was established to help maintain the City's park-like look, enhance property values and preserve the high quality of Cerritos neighborhoods. The officers respond to more than 3,000 neighborhood complaints each year, helping property owners find solutions to problems before they contribute to neighborhood decay. Problems are addressed in a confidential and friendly way.
