OEC Group was recently selected for the City’s Business Spotlight Program, which showcases companies that foster pride in the community, provide jobs and contribute to the local economy.
Founded in 1981, the Taiwan-based firm offers a wide range of freight transportation and logistics services, including air and ocean transportation, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, and supply-chain management. OEC’s southwest region division opened its headquarters in Cerritos in 2006.
The company, which now has a presence in more than 50 countries worldwide, won the prestigious “Best Logistics Service Provider” award from the Taiwan External Trade Development Council. OEC actively participates in a range of programs that support environmental sustainability, social welfare and community development.
