Joseph Chung’s Tax Service was recently selected for the City’s Business Spotlight Program, which showcases companies that foster pride in the community, provide jobs and contribute to the local economy.
A full-service accounting firm, Joseph Chung’s Tax Service has been in business for 35 years, with 15 years in Cerritos. Chung, a graduate from Hongik University in South Korea who also attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, is the owner.
Bilingual in English and Korean, Chung has worked for Northrop Grumman and was an IRS special enrolled agent. He has received numerous awards, including the Internal Revenue Service Appreciation Award in 2011; Franchise Tax Board Appreciation Award in 2013; The White House — The President’s Award in 2013; and KAAEA Appreciation & Merit Award in 2014.
