In 1903, T. Hasegawa was established as Hasegawa Totaro Shoten in Tokyo, Japan by Totaro Hasegawa. In 1961, T. Hasegawa Co., Ltd. was founded with Shozo Hasegawa as President and he took over all business responsibilities of Hasegawa Totaro Shoten. With a strong demand for Hasegawa products, they established their first overseas production facility in California in 1978 with the formation of T. Hasegawa USA. In 1989, they moved their production facility to the City of Cerritos and they have been thriving for 31 years in Southern California.
T. Hasegawa is a major producer of flavors and fragrances and they are one of the world's top ten flavor and fragrances companies. Their flavor chemist’s and food scientists have a passion for culinary creation and uniquely position distinctive formulations for all food and beverage product developments and improvements.
