Prudential Overall Supply is a business-to-business uniform supply service company that serves approximately 28,000 businesses throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The company provides rental laundry services for industrial and cleanroom customers. Additionally, Prudential Overall Supply is a TRSA Clean Green certified company.
Prudential Overall Supply was founded in 1932 in Los Angeles by John D. Clark. After Clark’s passing, his son, Dan Clark, assumed control of the company in 1991 and continues to lead the company today. His son John Clark is also part of the leadership team. The company employs 1,855 employees.
The Cerritos facility was established in 1972 as a laundry processing and customer service site. Today, the Cerritos facility is Prudential Overall Supply’s primary distribution center to receive used and new garments. These garments are received, classified, stored and rotated into service through the work of 61 full-time employees. The site distributes more than 3 million pieces annually. The facility received ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2017.
The Prudential Overall Supply roster of more than 28,000 customers includes approximately 300 who have utilized the company’s services for more than 35 years, and more than 1,250 customers who first signed on for service more than 25 years ago. Prudential Overall Supply currently serves 110 Fortune 500 companies. By 2012, the company had grown to 27 locations.
