California Panel and Veneer Company has been in business for 101 years as a California corporation and has operated in the City of Cerritos for nearly 40 years. Since 1917, the company has been Southern California’s foremost distributor of wood panel products and Formica brand surfaces.
California Panel and Veneer Company offers a variety of wood products such as softwood plywood, hardwood plywood, specialty plywood, particleboard, decorative panels, wood veneers and specialty products. California Panel and Veneer Company is a family owned business, and the current president, John Allen, represents the third generation dedicated to serving customers with quality products at competitive prices. California Panel and Veneer Company was one of the first distributors in Southern California to achieve Forestry Stewardship Council Certification, and it supports forest management practices that improve the sustainability of forest eco-systems worldwide. The company partnered with Formica Corporation in 1950 and is the largest single site distributor of Formica in the nation. The Formica products it carries are versatile surfacing solutions that are inspired by and adapt to the way people live, work and play.
