Inspired by the lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains where founder Chris Simms spent many family vacations, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar offers the perfect environment for a quick weeknight dinner, a meandering meal with old friends or a big night out. The first Lazy Dog restaurant opened in the City of Huntington Beach in 2003, and showcased an eclectic menu of memorable family favorites reinterpreted with bold new flavors and served with small-town hospitality.
Lazy Dog offers an extensive menu option, which includes hamburgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads, meat dishes, fish and chicken entrees. Lazy Dog now offers a new BBQ bison meatloaf using grass-raised Wyoming bison, for the more adventurous customers who want to try something unique and tasty. Lazy Dog also offers a kids menu, which includes chicken tenders, pizza, macaroni and cheese and hamburgers.
Lazy Dog is open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch at the Los Cerritos Center. The restaurant has a full bar with specialty cocktails, a wide selection of craft beers and Lazy Dog’s own hand-crafted beer selection. The Cerritos restaurant offers The Lazy Dog Presents: Dinner and Movie, a partnership with local movie theaters, so the next time customers enjoy a meal at Lazy Dog, they can purchase discount movie tickets.
Lazy Dog is a partner with the local community and has contributed towards local charities such as The Food Bank of California, The Girl Scouts and St Jude’s Crosson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Currently, Lazy Dog has 19 locations throughout California, Nevada and Texas and more are scheduled in the future. The restaurant will continue to develop partnerships with the local community to support worthy causes.
