Eyesite Optometry has been a staple in the Cerritos business community for 42 years. First established in 1973, Eyesite Optometry was initially located in the newly built Los Cerritos Center. Thirty-five years later Eyesite Optometry moved to its present location at the corner of South Street and Pioneer Boulevard. In 1995, the father and son team of Dr. Sy and Dr. David Rosenblum purchased Eyesite Optometry, remodeled the beautiful mall location and concentrated on creating the ultimate eye care experience for all of its patients. The Eyesite Optometry mission statement truly exemplifies the atmosphere of the business and values shared by its staff:

Eyesite Optometry feels that reputation is paramount when patients are making the very important decision of selecting a health care provider. “Our reputation began by first establishing the practice in Cerritos, the City with the finest reputation for ethics, honesty and excellence in business and residency. Likewise, our reputation has been built on family values, phenomenal patient care and our commitment to ethical business practice,” said Dr. Rosenblum.
Eyesite Optometry is also known for the best eyewear collection in the area. The company displays an extensive selection of designer eyewear and sunglasses featuring exclusive collections from designers such as Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Oliver Peoples, Prada, SALT, DITA, Ray Ban and Oakley.
Additionally, the company’s services include comprehensive vision and eye health examinations for both adults and children. This examination is designed to detect a wide range of problems affecting vision function, such as blurred vision or eye discomfort. Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. Eyesite Optometry incorporated computerized technology to assist in the evaluation of spectacle prescriptions, peripheral vision, intraocular pressure and eye health. Computerized examination instruments are used to supplement rather than replace personalized care. Examinations include tests for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and the ocular effects of many general health disorders such as diabetes and high blood pressure, as well as effects of medications.
Eyesite Optometry also provides comprehensive cornea and contact lens care. After an eye examination, Eyesite Optometry evaluates your eyes and determines which type of contact lens will best suit your individual needs. The staff prescribes all major brands of soft and ridged contact lenses. Additionally, they prescribe custom designed contact lenses for special needs as well as special eye problems.
Eyesite Optometry has been an active partner in the Cerritos community. For example, the company created the ESP (Eyesite Student Pledge) Program for the ABC Unified School District. It pledged to perform one free eye exam a week and provide one free pair of glasses to a student in need of eye care selected by the school nurse. “I am proud to state that the ESP program has provided over one hundred ABC school district children with free eye care and glasses,” said Dr. Rosenblum.
Eyesite Optometry has been taking care of Cerritos residents for more than 40 years. “It has been an honor and privilege to serve the community and we thank the residents and City officials of Cerritos for their continued support through the years,” said Dr. Rosenblum.

Office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, office hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the office is closed on Sundays.
