Founded in California in 1980, Allstate Floral has grown into a leading importer with the largest in-stock designs in the market. In July 1980, Linda Wang, a former certified instructor of fresh flower arrangements from Taiwan, started the Allstate Trading Company in Southern California. As the company experienced explosive growth, it moved to progressively larger facilities in Northridge, then Chatsworth, before relocating its corporate office and warehouses to its present location in Cerritos in 1985. The president, Jack Wang, began managing the company full time in 1986. With a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, Jack Wang focused on establishing a management system and positioned the company for further growth.
As Allstate Floral continued to grow, it expanded its Cerritos headquarters to 45,000 square feet in 1987 and even more in 1999. Since then, the company has increased its domestic presence and now also maintains permanent showrooms at the top international trade markets in Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas and High Point, in addition to three showrooms in Cerritos.
