Established in 1991, Corelis, Inc. designs and develops electronic analysis tools, embedded test tools and the industry's broadest line of JTAG boundary-scan software and hardware products. Today, Corelis products are deployed globally within industries that develop or manufacture electronic products, including aerospace, defense, medical, manufacturing, networking and telecommunications.
Corelis' ScanExpress brand JTAG systems are used for printed circuit board structural testing in addition to functional testing and in-circuit programming of flash memory. The ScanExpress product line is generally recognized as the highest performance and easiest to use PC-based boundary-scan test system available on the market today. Any electronic circuit boards, ranging from PC motherboards and handheld cellphones to GPS navigation systems and medical heart monitors, have likely been tested using Corelis products.
Corelis products were recently approved by the United States Air Force to be used in its Versatile Depot Automatic Test Station (VDAT) program alongside other major technology providers such as Lockheed Martin, AAI Textron, Boeing and Teradyne. The VDATS program is designed to replace specialized test equipment that has become both difficult and expensive to maintain. It also aims to improve test efficiency, reduce the logistic footprint and reduce the overall cost of automatic test system infrastructure.
Corelis' development and test tools are used by companies such as Agilent, Dell, IBM, Jabil, Intel, Microsoft, Rockwell, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Qualcomm, Nokia, Panasonic, TI, Marconi, Ford, Plexus, Broadcom, Ericsson and Flextronics. Corelis also has ongoing strategic third-party relationships with major industry leaders such as TI, Freescale, Broadcom and Seica.
