Agijagi opened in the Los Cerritos Center in February 2012. The store features a cosmopolitan theme that incorporates elements of popular Asian culture throughout its unique inventory of stationery and lifestyle accessories. The store's primary focus is on providing high-quality customer service in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
Timothy James, owner of Agijagi, was attracted to Cerritos because of its multi-cultural community and business-friendly atmosphere; two characteristics which he believes are the key to the continued success of his business. James stated that "Cerritos is a vibrant City that is well-known for being a multi-cultural community. It has a well-deserved reputation within the region for being an outstanding place to do business due to a progressive City Council that has consistently supported the business community." In addition, James' personal affinity for the arts made Cerritos a logical choice for his business, given the City's unique Art in Public Places program and the abundance of public art found within the City.
