Edward Jones’ history dates back to 1922 when the first office opened in St. Louis, Missouri. On November 18, 1996, the firm opened its 3,481st branch in Cerritos on South Street and Carmenita Road. The company serves one client: the serious, long-term individual investor. Edward Jones defines its clients by the value they place on the company’s personalized advice, guidance and service. The Cerritos Edward Jones branch team believes it’s important to invest time to understand what its clients are working towards before they invest their money. Tho Ngo, financial advisor for the Cerritos branch, began her Edward Jones career in 2010 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. She received the AAMS® professional designation in 2012.
Edward Jones is active in business and civic affairs in Cerritos. Ms. Ngo is an ambassador for the Cerritos Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Optimist Club and a monthly speaker at the Cerritos Senior Center. She also supports the Friends of Arts Education at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts. In 2012, Ms. Ngo received the Rookie of the Year Award from the Optimist Club.
Edward Jones’ branch office administrator, Bernice Sandoval, has 13 years of experience and is dedicated to providing clients with the highest level of service. “Relationships are key, and in our view, meeting face to face builds strong relationships. We meet when it’s convenient for our clients because we recognize the challenging needs of their business and their lives.”
