Proclamation presented April 23, 2012 to Mezza Mediterranean Grill at Cerritos City Council Chambers.
The Jessa family opened Mezza Mediterranean Grill in Cerritos on January 15, 2012. The menu consists of Mediterranean staples such as marinated kabobs, homemade hummus and baba ganouj, and a variety of fresh salads. Head chef Najwa Massoud was born and raised in the mountains of Lebanon.
Upon entering the restaurant patrons will feel as if they are in the Mediterranean region. The first thing guests will notice is a large window inviting them to watch the cooks carefully preparing each meal. The décor is a mixture of traditional artwork mixed with modern styles. The room is completed by a beautiful bar featuring wines from around the world.
Mezza Mediterranean Grill owner Jake Jessa is excited about the opportunity to operate a business in Cerritos and is looking forward to cultivating a long relationship with the community.
