Off Street Café is a family dining establishment in Cerritos. The restaurant is known for its French and Italian country-style flair, and has brought patrons quality food and service for the past 25 years. The café specializes mostly in comfort food.
Recently, Off Street Café was featured on the popular Food Network TV show “Restaurant: Impossible.” As the restaurant had not been remodeled in over 20 years, co-owners Robin Vanden Berg and Rose Viscio wrote the producers of the television program, and after a series of interviews, Chef Robert Irvine selected Off Street Café to be featured on the show.
Over the course of 36 hours, the restaurant was remodeled to resemble something out of the French countryside. The interior was repainted and new décor was added to create a livelier atmosphere. Additionally, the menu now includes more fresh food while still keeping its country, home-cooked influence that has attracted patrons for more than two decades.

The menu still features old favorites like chicken fried steak and new exotic choices such as marinated chicken breast with tomatoes, peppers and onions on a skewer over rice pilaf, Cajun shrimp pasta with spicy cream sauce, and shrimp fajitas with peppers, onions and tomatoes with rice and beans.
