Appropriate fees are due to the Cerritos Senior Center by Friday, September 30, 2022. Fees are non-refundable and checks must be made payable to the City of Cerritos. In order to achieve a balance in the types of vendors represented at the Fair, the Cerritos Senior Center reserves the right to limit duplication of service providers. Applicants will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis and spaces will be assigned as applications are approved. Event participation approval will be sent by email no later than Wednesday, September 28, 2022. If you do not receive a notification regarding event participation by Wednesday, October 5, please contact Melissa Pizano at (562) 916-8550.

Publicity

Flyers advertising the event will be available at the Cerritos Senior Center and other City community facilities. Promotion will occur in “The Cerritos News” and “Cerritos Lifelong Enrichment” as well as on the City of Cerritos website (cerritos.us) and Cerritos TV3. Exhibitors are requested to distribute/post flyers in an effort to promote the Fair.

Exhibit/Display Configuration

All exhibits/displays are to remain within the designated area for the duration of the Fair. One 6-foot table, a cloth table drape and two chairs will be provided to each vendor. Vendors may use their own logo table covers if desired. Within the 8' x 8' space allocated and at the discretion of the vendor, a free-standing backdrop may be used behind the table. No part of the vendor’s display may be attached to the Center’s walls, ceilings or floor. The Cerritos Senior Center will provide small signs for each table identifying the exhibitor. Exhibitors are expected to act in a professional manner, be responsible for their displays and staff their booths at all times.

No raffles or selling may occur. No indoor vendors may distribute food items (except wrapped hard candy) at any time. All screenings provided must be at no cost to the City of Cerritos, the Cerritos Senior Center or the patrons attending the Health and Wellness Fair.

Set-up/Tear-down

Exhibits/displays may be set up on the morning of the Fair between 7 and 8 a.m. Exhibits/displays must be removed between noon and 12:30 p.m. on the day of the Fair. Areas must be left clean.

Parking

Vendors may load and unload at curbside only during set-up and tear-down. Staff will direct vendors to designated parking areas that must be used during the Fair.

Vendor check-in is located in the River Rock Room, west of the front door. Please check in to receive the vendor packet, which includes a Health Fair brochure, a map and an evaluation form.

*Please help improve the event next year by filling out the evaluation form included in the vendor packet.

Booth Location
