You don't have to live with the spray painted scribble on the light post down the street. Report it to the Graffiti Hotline at (562) 916-1233.
Cerritos spends more than $150,000 each year scrubbing painted messages and other vandalism off of walls, curbs and street signs.
The best deterrent is swift removal, so residents are encouraged to call the hotline whenever you see unsightly graffiti around town. report graffiti using GoRequest.
When contacting the City, please try to be as specific as possible to help the work crews find the mess. Include on your message the exact address, if possible, and which object has been defaced, whether it is a building, wall, street sign or curb.
The City aims to remove graffiti within 48 hours after it has been reported.
