Parking restricted on portions of Dumont Avenue

The Cerritos City Council recently approved restricting parking along portions of Dumont Avenue.
On-street parking will be restricted or prohibited on weekdays at certain times on sections of the street for student and school drop-off and pick-up. The restrictions will apply to portions on the west side of Dumont Avenue, approximately 870 feet south of Artesia Boulevard and 1,330 feet north of 183rd Street; and on the east side of Dumont Avenue, approximately 700 feet south of Artesia Boulevard and 235 feet north of 183rd Street.
Signs and curb markings will be installed and local businesses and properties will be notified of the changes.
