Submit a City Wide Pride nomination

February 24, 2017

The City Wide Pride program recognizes superior maintenance and landscaping of homes in the City. The program has recently been revised and allows for anyone to nominate a home for acknowledgment by emailing a photo and address to the City for submission. The selected homes will be recognized at a monthly Property Preservation Commission meeting and will also be posted on the City's website.

Entries will be evaluated based on overall appearance and landscaping. To submit a nomination, take a picture of the home from the sidewalk, curb or street. Photographs should not include people or vehicles. Note the property address and email the photo and contact information to Submissions can also be made through the City's GORequest app on your smartphone. Recognized properties may not be resubmitted for one calendar year.

Prior to recognition, City staff will contact the property owner for permission to recognize the property at a Property Preservation Committee meeting and to publish the photograph on the City's website.

The City Wide Pride Beautification Program was created in 1990 by the Cerritos City Council to preserve the beautiful, park-like appearance of the City's residential neighborhoods. The program is coordinated by the Property Preservation Commission.
