Job Application Procedure

The City of Cerritos' job application may be filled out on-line, printed, signed and mailed to the Human Resources Division at the address listed below.
Applications are also available in person from the Human Resources Division, City Hall, Bloomfield Avenue at 183rd Street, Cerritos, CA 90703. Applications can be requested by calling (562) 860-0311 or by submitting an e-mail through the Job Application Request (On-line Form).
Completed applications must be returned by 5 p.m. on the last day to file. Applications must be mailed to or dropped off at:

Applications sent via fax will not be accepted.
All applications will be reviewed in detail. Those applicants possessing the most desired qualifications will be invited to participate in an oral exam. City appointments are contingent upon successful completion of a records check, physical examination and verification of United States citizenship or legal authorization to be employed.
