MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CERRITOS CITY COUNCIL HELD ON MARCH 12, 2013
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Cerritos City Hall, 18125 Bloomfield Avenue, Cerritos, California.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember-elect George Ray.
3. ROLL CALL
The following members of the City Council/Successor Agency were in attendance:

5A. Resolution for Consideration
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CERRITOS, CALIFORNIA RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2013, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CHARTER (COUNCIL)
Vida Barone, City Clerk, read the results of the election into the record.
MOTION: It was moved by Barrows and seconded by Pulido to waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2013-5, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CERRITOS, CALIFORNIA RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY ON TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2013, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY CHARTER. The motion carried as follows:

ABSTAIN: None
